SHOW YOUR STAMPEDE SPIRIT

This annual contest is an opportunity for businesses and organizations to share in the spirit of Stampede by adding western décor to their premises. Teams of committee judges review each location for Stampede spirit, team effort, originality, creativity, western-style dress and all-round western hospitality. A winner and runner-up are chosen in each of the 14 categories: Airport, Financial Institutions, Hotels/Motels, Legions/Private Clubs, Restaurants, Retail, Community Associations, Seniors Facilities, Extended Care, Offices/ Buildings, Auto Dealerships & Public Transportation, Large Indoor Malls, Small Indoor Malls.

The Stampede Promotion Store, located at 626 14th Ave SE (north end of Stampede Park), will be open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, June 18 until noon on Thursday, July 5. The store sells straw bales, wooden slabs, pottery, posters and various other items.
