The Queens Alumni Committee are past Stampede royalty. The group creates opportunities for its members to stay in touch with fellow Alumni and the Stampede family. The committee also plans and operates fundraising events and activities for special needs children.

GIDDY-UP GRITS

Giddy-Up Grits is a private Stampede Breakfast held for children with special needs. The breakfast is held on Monday, July 9 from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the Kids’ Midway. The children and their accompanying guests are treated to a free pancake breakfast (7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.) followed by complimentary rides on the Kids’ Midway (9 a.m. to 11 a.m.). Throughout the morning the children will enjoy mascots, walk-about entertainers, special guests and souvenirs.
