The Stampede Queen and Princesses are goodwill ambassadors of the Calgary Stampede and reign over The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth. As official representatives of the Calgary Stampede and the city of Calgary, the Stampede Queen and Princesses make over 400 appearances throughout North America during their exciting year of reign. These are talented and friendly ladies that will help make any event extra special.

2007 Calgary Stampede Royal Trio

As official representatives of the Calgary Exhibition & Stampede and the city of Calgary, the 2007 Stampede Queen & Princesses will make over 400 appearances in an exciting year of their reign.

Stampede Queen - Amanda Kochan
Kochan, 20, is in her second year at Mount Royal College, where she is working towards her marketing degree. Kochan enjoys breaking young horses and riding competitively. Kochan also enjoys baseball, golf and giving lessons to intermediate riders.

Stampede Princess - Caia Morstad
Morstad, 24, has earned a degree in agricultural economics, with a minor in business from the University of Saskatchewan. She is currently working at Bow Valley College as a business and financial analyst. Showing and riding horses has been a large part of Morstad’s life and she has received recognition at the provincial, national and international level.

Stampede Princess - Amanda Byrne
Byrne, 21, is a native Calgarian and is currently attending Mount Royal College. Byrne was a member of the Canadian National Luge Team. In the future Byrne would like to own her own ranch and compete in  reining competitions.
