Agriculture

There are so many agriculture activities happening at the Stampede that it would be impossible to list them all here. Be sure to head down to the Park to discover the many activities. Remember, there’s something new to discover each day.

Ag-tivity in the City

• Watch for the 2006 celebration of Alberta’s agriculture, brought to the urban population through an array of fun and educational interactive displays.

Western Culture Indian Village (South end of the Park): Western culture isn't simply about the cowboy. Visit the Indian Village to learn the history of the First Nations. Western Showcase (Halls C & D of the Roundup Centre):
A cultural oasis in the middle of the Stampede.

You’ll find fine art and artisan works in this area as well as Métis display, Glenbow archives, floral competition, cake decorating and a musical jam session with the Sales Salon artists. 

Window on the West provides an insight into the old west and new western lifestyle. The stage is host to lively mix of entertainers, musicians and cowboy poets.
