CBC and the Calgary Stampede have a renewed broadcast agreement that will begin July 2011 and continue through 2015.

Coverage of The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth will continue to be seen on CBC Television, CBCSports.ca and CBC’s digital channel bold, including coverage of the 100th anniversary of the legendary event taking place in July, 2012.

bold is available to Shaw Digital Cable subscribers on channel 96, Shaw Direct channel 512 and Bell TV channel 641. For more information on how to subscribe to bold, viewers can call their local television service provider or visit boldtv.ca.

Shaw TV Calgary - Southern alberta

Shaw TV Calgary will be broadcasting three shows highlighting the thrills and spills of the 2011 Calgary Stampede.   From July 8th - 17th, Shaw cable subscribers can turn to Channel 10 for the most comprehensive local coverage:

•    ATCO Saddle Up is a family-oriented, variety program showcasing local events, cowboys and cowgirls, rides, food and musical entertainment surrounding the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.  Debuts at 10:00am each morning.   Well-known Calgary television host Erin Strate hosts.  Repeats every hour on the hour from 2 -10 p.m.
•    Servpro ‘Chucks on Shaw’ is a daily chuckwagon race program showing all nine exciting heats, from each of the ten nights of Stampede.   New show every night at 11 p.m. and repeats next day at 1 a.m., 3 a.m., 5 a.m., 8 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
•    Talisman ‘Rodeo On Shaw’ is a daily rodeo highlights package, including interviews with the daily event winners.   Former Rodeo Competitor Duane Daines provides detailed analysis and former Canadian Olympian Melissa Hollingsworth interviews the competitors.   New show every night at midnight with repeats at 2 a.m., 4 a.m., 6 a.m., 9 a.m., & 12 p.m.
