Mother Mother

The band, originally formed in 2005 as Mother, added an extra "mother" onto their name in 2007 and re-released its debut album under the new name of Mother Mother, re-naming the album Touch Up. Touch Up included two new songs, as well as artwork and overdubs different from the original. The band released their second album, O My Heart, in 2008. The album, written by member Ryan Guldemond, has accumulated much positive acclaim since its release, including a Single of the Week on iTunes for the week of October 8, 2008. Their album Eureka was released on March 15, 2011. The album's first single was "The Stand", which hit top ten on the Canadian charts.
